OVERVIEW
Trinity Christian School, located on California’s scenic Monterey Peninsula, is a Christcentered,
college-preparatory school serving middle and high school students. Established
in 2001, Trinity exists to equip students to know and follow Christ, develop their Godgiven
gifts, and impact the world for His Kingdom. The school has built a reputation as a
safe, mission-driven community where students are known by name, encouraged in their
faith, and given opportunities to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. Its intimate size
and deeply relational culture have created a family-like environment that appeals to both
long-standing Christian families and those seeking a values-driven alternative to public or
secular independent schools.
Trinity’s next chapter comes at an exciting pivotal moment. The school has a cohesive
faculty and staff, and a Board more dedicated than ever toward growth and continuous
improvement. Enrollment is steady but has room to grow, finances are stable, and there
is a palpable sense of momentum as families rally around a shared vision for the future.
Trinity is focused on strengthening its academic program and test scores, expanding its
athletic and extracurricular offerings, continuing to attract and retain passionate teachers
by improving compensation, and discerning the long-term question of its campus location
to support future growth. These challenges/opportunities represent exciting possibilities
for the right leader to leave a lasting mark.

OVERVIEW
(CONTINUED)
The next Head of School will be a Christ-centered, visionary, and relational leader who
can inspire confidence and unity among parents, faculty, staff, students, and the Board.
This person will bring strong organizational and financial acumen, with the ability to
increase enrollment to 150-200 students, expand donor and church partnerships, and lead
fundraising to strengthen teacher salaries and improve facilities. He or she will be a gifted
community builder who embraces Trinity’s warm, family culture while casting a bold vision
for its future, ensuring that academics and athletics flourish, teachers feel supported and
engaged, and students—including those with diverse learning needs—are known, nurtured,
and thriving in their faith.
Success will mean that Trinity is thriving as a spiritually vibrant, academically competitive,
and financially stable school; its teachers are well-supported and eager to stay; athletic
teams and clubs are flourishing; the school has secured a long-term campus solution;
and its Christ-centered mission shines clearly as a beacon to families across Monterey
and beyond. For a Head of School with a heart for ministry and a drive to lead growth

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe :
• That all Scripture is verbally inspired by God and that it is the supreme and final authority
in faith and life. (II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 3:16-17)
• In one God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John
14:16-17, Matthew 28:19, Deuteronomy 6:4)
• In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in
His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection
and in His second coming.
• That man is created in the image of God, that he sinned and must be saved, and that
man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of
God. (Romans 3:23, II Peter 1:18-19)
• That the Christian is saved by grace through faith wholly apart from human merit and
works and that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again. (Ephesians
2:8-9)
• In the resurrection of both the saved and unsaved; they that are saved unto the
resurrection of life and they that are unsaved unto the resurrection of condemnation.
(Daniel 12:2)
• That Christians are to be separated unto God, living holy lives pleasing to Him, and
witnessing to His glory.

THE CAMPUS
The TCS campus is currently nestled in a nice neighborhood above Monterey’s Cannery
Row with sweeping views of Monterey Bay—setting a serene coastal backdrop for both
academics and community outreach. The school comprises of one large primary building,
a school gym with an adjacent practice field.
The campus supports a cohesive community-oriented vibe highlighted by small size and
close-knit relationships: faculty deeply engage with individual students, mentoring beyond
academics into life and character development.
Conversations are beginning about a potential move of the campus to the Monterey-
Salinas Highway corridor to be closer to the residential areas of the region. The next Head
of School will be involved in shaping the strategy, decisions, and execution of this which
could significantly impact the growth potential of TCS.

MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA
Located along California’s iconic Central Coast, the Monterey Peninsula offers a distinctive blend of natural beauty, cultural
richness, and coastal charm. The region is best known for its breathtaking coastline, temperate climate, and deep-rooted sense
of community—qualities that make it an inviting place to live, work, and raise a family.
The city of Monterey itself has a rich historical legacy. Today, its blend of history and modern life is evident in the well-preserved
architecture of Cannery Row and the vibrant Fisherman’s Wharf, as well as in its thriving arts, education, and marine science
communities. Nearby Salinas, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove, and Pebble Beach each contribute their own distinct character
to the region, creating a tapestry of small-town charm, artistic energy, and natural serenity.
Many TCS families reside in the neighboring city of Salinas, a growing and diverse community just inland from the coast. Salinas
offers a more suburban and accessible living environment, with a lower cost of housing compared to the peninsula. It is a familycentered
city with a strong work ethic, vibrant cultural life, and convenient access to both the Monterey Peninsula and the wider
Central Coast region.
For those called to serve in Christian education, the Monterey area provides a meaningful context for both professional leadership
and personal faith. Several churches and Christian ministries serve the region, offering opportunities for fellowship, service, and
spiritual growth. While the area is culturally diverse and spiritually varied, there is a faithful and engaged Christian community that
supports and encourages one another in mission and daily life.
